Expanded Staff Positions
The Communications Team falls under the purview of the Student Body Treasurer. My goal is the expand the team to get more minds at the table. Besides the traditional roles of Social Media Coordinator, Graphics Designer, and Communications Director and their deputy, we need to include Comm Team staffers. We should have the staff in order to send people to document some of the great events USC Student Government puts on in order to provide both an organizational history but a live and fun presence both online and in print.
Student Government social media accounts should have daily activity where we can promote, encourage, congratulate, and advertise. In order to set this marketing agenda SG is going to require not only the leadership hierarchy that exists but an additional staff of designers and marketers who are producing material.

Active & Engaging Output
The Student Government webpage and social media accounts should no doubt include all of the core information regarding SG operations. They should also be spaces for input, awareness, and sharing. With an expanded staff improving both the quality and quantity of our social media presence we will create a culture of interaction where we reach more students, alumni, and community members. Once we engage all of these people we can then use them to field surveys, gauge public opinion, and find out what issues the public cares about.
