Overhaul Treasurer's Workshops
One of the biggest issues I faced as a the treasurer for USC's Mock Trial Program was not understanding the funding process. If elected treasurer I will revamp the treasurers workshop to include explanations of the process as a whole. Organizations have enough going on to be stuck on the most vital aspect of their operations - funding. I would update Student Government's online resources to include an overview of the funding process, line by line explanations of the forms and paperwork required to get organizations their money, and detailed guidelines as to the limitations of the process.
What it comes down it is transparency and efficiency. We need to make the system approachable and work on getting organizations access to their money as quickly and easily as possible. More importantly, you need a student body treasurer who will be a strong advocate for those organizations. Who isn't afraid to question the system and has the experience and patience to instill real meaningful change. The most essential of which is making sure everyone knows how to get their money. Knowledge is power and in achieving this goal I hope to empower students.

Bring Organizations to the Table
No approach to reforming the student org funding process can be complete without reaching out and listening to student organizations and treasurers who have used the process themselves. As treasurer I would create an advisory committee of student organization treasurers and presidents who can best provide SG with feedback as to how we can best look to improve all aspects of our processes and general outreach to the student body. These individuals would provide the outside perspective that SG needs to be as effective as ever.
